He was your typical Alpha starstruck with his Omega. I love how caring and protective he was of Doyun and how shy he sometimes gets around him. He pays Doyun attention to the point that he notices Doyun’s scent (pheromones) and his heat condition before anybody else. He was portrayed as Doyun’s work rival and usually the one to start the fighting. Possessive, confident and hella good at sex. To be honest, his character progression is nothing new and he exhibited the alpha traits we, fans of omegaverse, is familiar with. The webtoon showed how Doyun's worldview turned upside down because of new encounters, feelings and discoveries and I was more than happy going through his journey with him. First love would not only bring intense happiness and excitement but also fear and insecurity. In short, the anxiety and rush of first love.ĭoyun's struggle was refreshing because, to be honest, not everyone is happy to be in love, especially if you went through most of your life not loving anyone romantically, which is how Doyun lived his life. In the first season, it was highlighted how Doyun felt when he realized that he held tender feelings for his rival, and his clumsy attempts at dealing with his emotions.
#Love shuttle series
In fact, he did a lot of thinking and went through a series of denials before finally letting himself feel what he feels. While he may have liked Taehan for a long time and finally realized it, he did not jump on his feelings and got carried away. My personal favorite was Doyun's inner struggle in getting to terms with his feelings for Taehan.

While the themes of Love Shuttle is certainly not a new idea, it explores themes not usually seen in this genre. I would recommend it to readers who got tired of the cliché tropes in omegaverse where the omega is submissive, dependent, love-struck and worst of all feminized.
